In truth they are bringing the “rules” closer to how most businesses, including some huge businesses have been running their competitions – Facebook have been ignoring pretty much 100% of the breaking of the rules.
Will they change now ? ….remains to be seen.

Yes, recently a companies page I followed on Facebook posted a picture that was not related in anyway to the company and was also of very bad taste. It immediately encouraged me to unlike their page.
